May of 2022.
Warner Springs inland San Diego. Never been there and never heard of it. There’s a first for everything. The bugs have showed me places I would never go otherwise. Worth all of it. The missions and experiences have been awesome. Some solo and some with friends.
This is a 1966 original convertible. The details from seller were this. Tires hold air and she runs. Seller also told me starter was jammed and this was the reason the motor was locked. Hmmmm ok I said but I really didn’t believe his story. Btw tires did not hold air and we had to push it up on the trailer and it was like 100 degrees lol. We got a tour of this property and a few stories from the sellers wife. With btw again they were going through a divorce. I did not mention the husband was not there just the sweet wife from France. The stories of peoples lives still surprise and inspire me. While my buddy and I were getting the car ready to push up on the trailer the wife was doing some gardening. True story. Long day short, We got the car and motor was for sure locked. Had nothing to do with the starter
When I rolled up and noticed 4 original centerlines, select a drop from beam, that was set at its lowest position, nice pans and paint that would for sure come back to nice, I knew this was a solid find.
All in all, for the price and this day experience, Worth every penny. TAKE RISK GO FOR IT AND LIVE YOUR LIVES. WHY NOT.
Enjoy the come back pics
We so far have added new tires all 4, Washed and waxed and sent motor off to Jason at Paradise Motorsports for a fresh 1915 build. Solid and reliable as this is a beach cruiser dune ripper.
