What info I had on buggy before departing my house – This buggy runs and hauls ass!!
Oh what a damn mission. Located out near Fresno ca (Auberry). 12 hour round trip. Another brother jam! Thanks my bro. Nothin but love for you for real! negotiated for around 7 to 10 days on this one. The owner was nice, cool and sounded honest via text and voice. I asked all the questions I knew. Long trip and honest details are critical. Well, long story short I was shit on. LOL for real.
Owner could not be there for final sale so his daughter took over and managed. She was cool and her 10 year old daughter was there helping out (cute). I walked over to the buggy and pulled the oil dip stick and almost got shot in the face with water. I called the owner right away to share and he honestly told me and I quote “oh yeah thats just rain water”! Are you fucking kidding me I thought! LOL. I moved forward and popped off the valve covers and more rain water dumping and pouring mixed with a little shity oil here and there. While the rain water was dumping out of the motor, the 2 daughters were recommending to push and jump start the rail. Good times! I negotiated price he excepted we loaded up and got back on the road. My brother was kinda bitching by the way. Just a little. We stopped in a little town outside Auberry called PRATHER. Cool little spot. Met some people that were checking the buggy out and dug it. The lights on the trailer did not work and sellers gave us an old mobil pair. They didn’t work. My brother has to run lights and i never really do. He was driving so we bought a set off a guy named GUY no shit. He has a 1974 cal bug. Pretty cool car. We made it home safely and my brother helped me pull the rain water filled motor while kinda bitching at me the whole time on the piece of shit that he thought it was. I LOVE IT! So sexy.
