Here is the rarest of the rare.
1964 shortened chassis and still have no idea exactly what the body is but leaning towards Dean Jeffries.
I could not pass this one up. Az car. When I test drove it, the car had limited throttle. I drove around the block in the Az heat. I decided to stop and have a look at the throttle situation. I noticed right behind the fan shroud someone installed a spring. I had to laugh. Great stuff.
I bought the car on its uniqueness alone, pulled it home and began to go through the buggy. My neighbor and friend saw the car parked and loved it and bought it. Here are some before pics when I had it and after when Squier bought it.

Hello, We have had our car since 1968 1 owner 1 builder. Built as a kit . Body , side skirts, half top, seats, roll bar. The dealer did not want to sell it because he was going to build it for himself. But we traded him a vw bus for it. 1968 finished street legal 1974. Yes got a koyote brochure with it but must’ve been a prototype . I have seen 3 similar and our car is completely original with custom work done. Glad to see another. Also fiberglass fuel tank you had to fiberglass in the front. VW love 51 years and going✌️Colorado
